Ok, I usually stick to cardmaking but I just have to share what I did today!! I have been itching to try my hand at watercolor painting. This was my very first attempt today!!
One of these days I may look back on this and laugh like I do now when I look at my first Copic pieces but it's all about the journey!! I had so much fun!! I am definitely hooked!
Other great news... I won two, (yes two!!!) blog candies today!! Me! I cannot believe it! I want to thank Bren of Brenscraps and Wendy of SugarPea Designs. I was a follower of both ladies before the candy because both have amazing blogs!! Please take a swing by to check out their awesome art!

Woah! This is stunning. First attempt? I think you're pulling my leg, but then again I shouldn't be surprised. This is just another form of coloring--something you EXCEL at. Beautiful girl. Congrats on all your candy wins! YAY!

oh my word.. if this is your first attempt I think you will be a true artist and master of watercoloring within a few weeks or months :-)))
But to be honest: I'm not really surprised, because ALL of your coloring (no matter what medium you use) is AMAZING!!! So it seems you have some great talent, sweetie :)

Truly gorgeous! I don't think you'll laugh when you look back on this, no matter how many more watercolors you paint. For a first attempt, this is phenomenal... I'd say you have the knack!
