Shew, I made it with 3 days to spare. Tiddly Inks has had a Art Journal challenge for the last two weeks and I've been wanting to get something entered but just haven't had time. Today I finally played and had a ball!! I've been wanting to ink up Owlette (and it comes with that awesome tree!!) so I let that dictate what my journal page theme was going to be. I think owl and I automatically think wise, so here's what I came up with:

Another brilliant page, Dana! It's so cool watching you during your creative process and even though I have watched several of your videos, I just realized in watching this one that you lay down your darker colors first and work toward the lighter when you're working with Copcis. I do just the opposite. Anyway, I love the images (especially that twisty tree!) and as always, your coloring is perfect. Enjoyed all the technique lessons too!

Would love to know what the 'crayons' you were using to do the background and everything? I tend to use acrylic paint which seems to over power everything :D
